With the loss of their classmate Levi Keith, it was with a heavy heart Friday night the Willow Springs Bears played their first home game of the season against the Marionville Comets.
The Bears struggled in the first quarter, but slowly started clawing back, trailing at the half by a score of 13-7. They would go on to tie the game 21-21 at the end of regulation, but would fall in overtime.

With the loss, the Bears fall to 1-1 on the season. Next week they will be in action on the road against the Cabool Bulldogs.
