At home Friday night, the Willow Springs Bears played against the state ranked Hartville Eagles. It was a low scoring but hard fought game, with Hartville coming away with a 28-21 lead at the half. But the Bears would fight their way back and hold the Eagles to just 5 points in the 3rd quarter.
The Eagles would not go quietly however, as they played the Bears evenly in the 4th quarter. But it would be the Willow Springs Bears who would earn a hard fought win.
