Friday night, the red hot Willow Springs Bears were at home Friday night, looking to upset the #1 state ranked, undefeated Thayer Bobcats. The Bears wasted little time in taking control in the first quarter, building up a 15-5 lead. But Thayer would battle back, and tie the game at the half 22-22.
But the Bears would stand strong in the second half, and win their 3rd game in a row against state ranked opponents.
