It was senior night for both the Willow Springs Bears and Lady Bears at home Thursday night at Mumford Gymnasium, taking on the Thayer Bobcats.
First up, the Lady Bears had a tough night offensively, which the Lady Bobcats would use to their advantage. Thayer would never trail in the game, and would go on to the win the contest.
The last game of the night saw the Willow Springs boys taking on the Thayer boys. The Bears came out strong offensively, outscoring the Bobcats in the first half 19-9. But the Bobcats would not go quietly as they battled back to pull within one point at the half.
