The West Plains Zizzers took on the Buffalo Bison in their first game of the consolation bracket of the Blue & Gold Tournament on Dec. 27, 2023.
The Zizzers had a great first half against the Bison. The game started with the Zizzers behind the Bison early but would quickly overtake the Bison, ending the period 16-6. Scoring during the second quarter, West Plains would grow their lead over Buffalo, ending the half ahead, 27 to 15.
The third quarter was the highest scoring of the game for the West Plains Zizzers. In the third, the Zizzers added 24 points on the board while the Bison only added 9. The solid lead saw the Zizzers going easy against the Bison in the fourth quarter, with West Plains adding 5 points to their lead and Buffalo adding 13 points.
The West Plains Zizzers defeat the Buffalo Bison with a score of 56 to 37. The Zizzers next game will be against the winner of the Stockton-Bolivar game and will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28th.
