Boone Jenner scored two goals and had an assist for the Columbus Blue Jackets in a 5-2 preseason win against the St. Louis Blues at Nationwide Arena in Columbus on Wednesday.
Jenner gave the Blue Jackets a 1-0 lead 4:29 into the first period and made it 4-1 with a power-play goal 2:20 into the third.
Dean Kukan, Liam Foudy and Gregory Hofmann (empty net) scored, and Daniil Tarasov made 25 saves on 26 shots in two periods for Columbus. J-F Berube made 11 saves on 12 shots in the third period.
Hugh McGing and Jake Walman (power play) scored for St. Louis, and Joel Hofer made 16 saves on 19 shots playing half the game. Charlie Lindgren made 13 saves on 14 shots in row.
