The St. Louis Blues held tough during a 2-1 shootout win over the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena on Saturday. Nathan Walker gave St. Louis a 1-0 lead in the middle of the first period, but Carolina tied the game two minutes later. However, Jordan Binnington stopped 29 of the 30 shots that he faced during the game and four of the five attempts against him in the shootout. St. Louis is in fifth place in the Central Division with 41 points and a 20-17-and-1 record. The Blues host Florida tomorrow night.
