(St. Louis) After gaining a split in Minnesota, the St. Louis Blues return to the friendly confines of Enterprise Center in St. Louis this evening for game 3 of opening round play against the Minnesota Wild. That’s the good news.
The bad news is St. Louis’ injury situation coming into the game. Two of the Blues’ veteran defensemen, Robert Bortuzzo and Nick Leddy are out of tonight’s lineup with another, Marco Scandella, a question mark. That means a lot of pressure on young players being asked to step in a fill the void.
Goals in the two-game series are even at 6 apiece but Minnesota exploded for all 6 of their goals in game 2. Starter Ville Husso had a rough night Wednesday but will probably get the start in goal over Jordan Binnington.
