The St. Louis Blues open a five-game homestand tonight against the Winnipeg Jets at Enterprise Center. The Blues are 3-4-1 after losing two straight, including a 5-2 defeat at Nashville on Saturday. Jimmy Snuggerud scored his fourth goal of the season in that game, and the Blues will look to get their offense going against a Winnipeg team coming off a 3-2 loss to Carolina.
The Jets are 4-2-2 and will be without goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, who remains away from the team following an offseason trade request and subsequent suspension. Mark Scheifele leads Winnipeg’s attack and has a strong history against the Blues, with 20 goals and 31 assists in 48 career games. St. Louis will look to take advantage of home ice and get its five-game stretch at Enterprise Center off to a better start. Puck drop is at 7 o’clock tonight.
