Blues to premiere The Anatomy of the Draft on YouTube

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Blues announced today they will premiere ‘The Anatomy of the Draft’ – presented by Stifel – on Monday, August 7 at 7 p.m. exclusively on the team’s YouTube channel.

For the first time in team history, the Blues will give fans a behind-the-scenes look as Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong and the hockey operations staff prepared for the 2023 NHL Draft.

A compilation of over 50 hours of video footage, ‘The Anatomy of the Draft’ tracks the hockey operations staff from the NHL Draft Combine in Buffalo, New York, to pre-draft meetings in Ontario, Canada, to the first round of the Draft in Nashville. It provides a detailed documentation of how the Blues planned for the Draft, including exclusive footage of meetings involving player evaluations and the finalization of the organization’s official 2023 Draft Book.

Fans will also enjoy a seat at the table to witness video and audio of Armstrong’s conversations with Blues Director of Amateur Scouting Tony Feltrin and team staff, as well as fellow general managers, on the Draft floor.
