Buffalos barely outrun MSU-WP Grizzlies

On Saturday night, the MSU-WP Grizzlies hosted the Sunrise Christian Academy Buffalos at the West Plains Civic Center. The Grizzlies were off to a great start gaining a 7 point lead over the Buffalos. Quintin Jones went out of the game on account of injury at this time. The Buffalos turned the first half back into their favor, gaining the lead and keeping the Grizzlies trailing to end the half, 38 to 33.

The Grizzlies were caught hibernating as the Buffalos scored 10 points in the first three minutes of the second half. Sunrise Christian were able to get an 18 point lead over MSU-WP before the Grizzlies started seriously working together to slow down the Buffalos. #1 Saadar Calhoun caught the Grizzlies up with many long 3-point shots to help close the gap with less than six minutes left on the clock. The Sunrise Christian Buffalos were barely able to outrun the MSU-WP Grizzlies with a final score of 84 to 78.
