The Cardinals snapped their five-game skid by beating the Braves 10-4 in Atlanta. St. Louis trailed 4-2 through five innings before scoring the final eight runs of the night. St. Louis left fielder Lars Nootbaar and second baseman Nolan Gorman led the offense, each driving in three runs. Steven Matz won for St. Louis, tossing two-and-two-thirds shutout innings out of the bullpen. The 10-and-14 Cardinals send Miles Mikolas to the mound against Atlanta this morning.
