Miles Mikolas earned his fourth win of the year after striking out three and allowing two runs over six innings. Ryan Helsley secured his 20th save of the season after striking out two in the bottom of the ninth. Nolan Arenado went one for three with a solo homer to bring his season total to six. St. Louis is now third in the NL Central at 29-and-31 and will host the Colorado Rockies for a four-game series that begins tonight at Busch Stadium.
