Andre Pallante had a strong start as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Colorado Rockies 5-1 at Busch Stadium. Pallante earned his second win after striking out six and holding Colorado to three hits over five scoreless innings. Alec Burleson homered in the victory, while Masyn Winn drove in a pair of runs. The Cardinals have won two of three and are in fourth place in the NL Central at 31-and-33. St. Louis hosts Pittsburgh tomorrow night.
