The St. Louis Cardinals scored four times in the bottom of the eighth to take down the Brewers 6-3 at Busch Stadium. Dylan Carlson hit a solo home run to put the Cardinals up by one before Albert Pujols launched a three-run shot later in the innings. Pujols finished the day with two home runs, and Tyler O’Neill also went deep for St. Louis. Miles Mikolas earned his ninth win after giving up just two runs in eight innings. The Cardinals lead the NL Central by a game-and-a-half.
