The Cardinals took advantage of some early offense and cruised to a series sweep of the Marlins following a 6-4 victory in the series finale at Busch Stadium. Nolan Arenado drove in a run, and Nolan Gorman blasted a three-run shot as part of a four-run first inning. Gorman singled home another run in the seventh, while Zack Thompson earned the win after pitching two innings of scoreless relief. The Cards took all three games in the series and are now on a five-game win streak. St. Louis is fourth in the NL Central at 43-and-53. The Cardinals send Steven Matz to the mound against the Cubs at Wrigley tonight.
