Cardinals 9, Rockies 6

The St. Louis Cardinals overcame a 6-2 deficit to beat the Rockies 9-6 in Colorado. St. Louis tied the game with four runs in the seventh before going on top with three runs in the ninth. Tommy Edman, Juan Yepez, and Nolan Gorman all went yard in the victory, and Nolan Arenado drove in three runs. Giovanny Gallegos earned the win out of the bullpen, while Ryan Helsley picked up his second save. The Cardinals snapped a two-game losing streak. CJ Cron, Ryan McMahon, and Elias Diaz each hit a home run in the losing effort. Pierce Johnson was charged with the loss out of the pen. The loss ended Colorado’s two-game winning streak.
