(Chicago, IL) — The Cardinals slugged three home runs to beat the Cubs 13-3 in the second game of yesterday’s doubleheader. Nolan Arenado, Tyler O’Neill, and Tommy Edman all went deep in the win. Jake Woodford improved to 3-and-0 after holding Chicago to just one run on four hits in five-and-a-third innings. The Cardinals remain in first place in the NL Central at 71-and-52. Miles Mikolas starts for St. Louis against the Cubs tonight.
