The West Plains Zizzers played the Nixa Eagles in their first game of the Carthage Invitational on Thursday, December 12 2019. The game started off with the Eagles flying off to 20 points with the Zizzers only answering with 10 to end the 1st quarter. The Zizzers fought hard for the rest of the half, with both teams taking the lead only to be topped by the other, ending the half with the Zizzers trailing by one, score 30-31.
The second half was very similar to the first with the Zizzers falling behind 11 points to the Eagles, ending the 3rd quarter 36-47. The 4th quarter had the Zizzers fighting hard to get on top of the score board but were unable to slow down the Nixa Eagles.
Again, the West Plains Zizzers lose to the Nixa Eagles, 55 to 60.
The West Plains Zizzers play again in the Carthage Invitational at 4pm, December 13 2019.
