Chase Briscoe is on the pole for Sunday’s Daytona 500 NASCAR Cup Series race after running fastest in Wednesday’s single-car qualifying.
Briscoe (49.249 seconds) earned him the front row. Austin Cindric was second in qualifying.

Briscoe is on the pole for his first race with Joe Gibbs Racing, and it is the first Daytona 500 pole for Toyota.
The remaining 500 lineup will be set in the pair of qualifying races on this evening, with either four or five cars going home.
