The reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs have clinched their ninth straight AFC West title. Kansas City defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 19-17 on Sunday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium. Matthew Wright booted the game-winning 31-yard field goal as time expired and converted all four of his field goal attempts to help Kansas City notch its third straight victory. Patrick Mahomes completed 24-of-37 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown. DeAndre Hopkins scored the team’s lone TD on a nine-yard catch in the second quarter. The Chiefs are now 12-and-1. Justin Herbert went 21-of-30 for 213 yards and a touchdown in the losing effort. The Chargers have dropped two of their last three and remain second in the division at 8-and-5.
