It wasn’t pretty but the Chiefs got the job done in New England beating the Patriots 27-17. Patrick Mahomes was picked off twice, one on a pass that went right through the hands of Kadarius Toney. Harrison Butker missed his first kick of the year, but a fast start to the second half helped overcome the mistakes as KC outscored the Pats 13-0 in the third quarter.
The Chiefs get back to a two-game lead in the AFC West trying to stay within reach of the number one seed in the AFC for that first-round bye.
