Patrick Mahomes threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns as the Chiefs defeated the Buccaneers 41-31 in a Sunday night battle in Tampa. Mahomes connected nine times with Travis Kelce, who finished with 92 receiving yards and a score. Clyde Edwards-Helaire added 92 rushing yards and a touchdown for Kansas City, which improved to 3-and-1. Tom Brady led Tampa with 385 passing yards and three TDs. The Bucs were held to just three rushing yards on six carries. Tampa also lost a pair of fumbles as it dropped to 2-and-2 on the season.
