KC also made the big game in 2020, but lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Meanwhile, San Francisco hoping to make history on Sunday. The Niners are one win away from tying the NFL record for most Super Bowl titles by a single franchise. The team is currently tied for second with the Dallas Cowboys at five wins apiece. San Fran and Dallas are both trailing the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots, who have each won six Super Bowls.
