The Chiefs lost their preseason opener in New Orleans. Kansas City fell to the Saints 26-24 at the Caesars Superdome. Saints rookie kicker Blake Grupe made a game-winning 31-yard field goal as time expired. Chiefs’ QB Shane Buechele completed 11-of-18 passes for 155 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Kekoa Crawford, Richie James and Justyn Ross found the end zone for Kansas City in the losing effort. The Chiefs continue preseason action on the road against the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday night.
