Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco

The starting running back for the defending Super Bowl champions plans to be on the field for the season opener. Kansas City Chiefs second-year back Isiah Pacheco said that he will “absolutely” be at full strength for the opener against the Detroit Lions on Thursday, September 7th. The 24-year-old said that he is “getting back into shape and we’re working” as he recovers from offseason hand and shoulder surgeries. Pacheco finished his rookie season with 830 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
