Chiefs-Saints preview

Week Five wraps up with Patrick Mahomes and the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. The Chiefs enter at 4-and-0 and are aiming to remain as one of the NFL’s two remaining unbeaten teams alongside the Minnesota Vikings. Mahomes has been off to a sluggish start to the season, completing 68.6-percent of his passes for 904 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. The Chiefs will be without leading receiver Rashee Rice due to a knee injury. New Orleans is looking to snap a two-game losing streak following one-score losses to the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles over the last couple weeks. Carr has completed 72-percent of his throws for 824 yards, six TDs and three picks this year. Tight end Taysom Hill headlined a group of five Saints players that have already been ruled out due to injury. The Chiefs have won three straight over the Saints dating back to 2012.
