Chiefs struggle, hammered by Tennessee

(Nashville) The frustration continued for the Chiefs and their fans Sunday as they were pummeled by the Tennessee Titans, 27-3.

Kansas City’s defense continues to be an issue but they were able to limit the best back in the league, Derrick Henry to less than 100 yards for the first time this season. But Kansas City’s offense went on the fritz as well against a defense that statistically should have been in trouble against the top ranked offense in the NFL.

Turnovers again plagued KC, coughing up the ball 3 times to the Tennessee defense. The Titan offense held onto the ball, winning time of possession by more than 13 minutes.

Pat Mahomes had a rough day, completing 20 of 35 passes for just over 200 yards and no touchdowns.

The loss leaves the Chiefs 3-4, tied for last in the AFC west with Denver and 2 games behind first place Las Vegas.

Next up for the Chiefs will be Monday night football next week as they host the New York Giants
