Chiefs vs. Ravens preview

The Chiefs will be without one of their offensive playmakers for at least the season’s first four games. Kansas City has placed running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire [[ ee-LAIR ]] on the non-football illness list and he will not be eligible to return until at least Week Five. The 25-year-old has detailed his battles with PTSD in the past and was not on the practice field Sunday when the team began preparing for their Week One matchup. The Chiefs have Isiah Pacheco, Samaje Perine [[ suh-MAH-jay PEE-rine ]] and rookie Carson Steele filling out the running back depth chart.

The Chiefs are preparing for their Week One opponent. Kansas City will host Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in its regular season opener on Thursday night at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Wide receiver Hollywood Brown was the lone player that did not participate in yesterday’s practice. The other eight players listed on the injury report were all full participants. The Chiefs have won five of the last six games against the Ravens since 2015.
