The Cardinals head into the All-Star break on a sour note following an 8-3 loss to the Chicago Cubs in a four-game series split. The Cardinals gave up six home runs and Miles Mikolas was charged with his eighth loss giving up six runs on eight hits. Alec Burleson went deep in the losing effort. The Cardinals are in second place in the NL Central at 50-and-46. St. Louis will play Atlanta on Friday night.
