WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Don Long, head coach of the Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Softball team, has announced the signing of Amelia Jenkins, pitcher from Dexter to the 2024-2025 squad.
Jenkins averaged 167 strikeouts a season for Dexter High School. She batted .386 her junior season and earned first team all-conference, first team all-district and first team all-region honors.
“Amelia is a solid pitcher who will add depth to our pitching staff, and she hits the ball exceptionally well,” Long said. “We are excited have Amelia on the 2024-2025 Grizzly Softball team roster.”
