The Eagles led by Zeb Cornman traveled to East Carter on Tuesday night and had a fast-paced game against the Cardinals after the JV squad was able to get a big win 52-50 in the final seconds of the game. Cornman had 19 points and 19 rebounds while Jaris Acklin had 20 points and Kaden Daniels had 16. Golden led East Carter and all scorers with 22 while Boyer and Rudd had 20 and 16 respectively. Liberty went on a run at the end of the game and the Cardinals just didn’t have enough fire power to keep up as Liberty got a big win on the road 79-73. Liberty moves to 8-2 on the season while East Carter falls to 8-3. The Eagles will hit the floor Friday night at The Nest in Mountain View.
