Liberty took on Eminence tonight in a rescheduled game from December. Liberty came out and dominated the first 14-6 as Eminence took a timeout with a little over 3 to play in the first. Liberty was not able to extend their lead and finished 17-11 after the first quarter. With 5:00 minutes left in the 2nd Eminence forced Liberty to take a timeout. Eminence came out of the first forcing turnovers on Liberty and pushing into the lead 21-19. Eminence continued to hold off the Eagles and pushed through the end of the half with the lead 32-26. Liberty came out of the half and decided they wanted the lead back, Eminence called a time out with 3 minutes left in the 3rd with Liberty leading 38-36. After the timeout Eminence came back and took control of the game by the end of the 3rd, 44-40. It was a battle in 4th as Liberty caught the lead about half way through 45-44 and Eminence calling the timeout. Liberty ended up scoring 20 points total in the fourth to win the game versus Eminence 60-53. Gary Lee has more:
