COLUMBIA, Mo. – Former Mizzou long snapper Trey Flint has been invited to the Kansas City Chiefs rookie minicamp.
Flint played two seasons at Mizzou after concluding a four-year career at Ouachita Baptist University. In 49 career games (all starts) as the primary long snapper, he helped kickers convert 74-of-97 field goals [FGs] (.763) and 242-of-249 points after touchdowns [PATs] (.972) throughout his career.
Last season, the Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll recipient started all 13 games and was a key component of Mizzou’s placement kicking unit that went 36-of-37 on PATs (.973) and 24-of-34 on FGs (.706). He helped kicker Blake Craig rank tied for first in the league in FGs and FGs per game (1.85). Additionally, Flint helped Craig finish tied for fourth nationally in FGs, while setting a Mizzou freshman record and finishing tied for second in program history for FGs in a single season.
