COLUMBIA, Mo. – In collaboration with dining and hospitality partner Levy, Mizzou Athletics has implemented a comprehensive health & safety plan for food and beverage service at its home football games based on guidance from the CDC, FDA and the University’s Health Department.
All hospitality team members will follow physical distancing, cleaning & disinfecting, hygiene, PPE, and health screening guidelines. That includes completing new OSHA return-to-work training prior to entering stadium facilities, completing temperature screening and a health assessment form upon arriving each day, and wearing face coverings and gloves at all times.
Dining and hospitality areas across Faurot Field will also implement several measures to create a contactless and frictionless experience for fans, including:
Concourse Concessions
- Cash-free checkout throughout the stadium. All major credit cards will be accepted.
- Concessions menus have been streamlined to feature fan favorite and top-selling dishes, in order to maximize speed-of-service.
- Specialty menu items have been distributed evenly across concourse concession stands, giving fans access to more variety closer to their seats, and reducing foot traffic around the concourse.
- Dining locations will use fully-enclosed packaging, pre-wrapped items, disposable utensils, plates, and single use condiments
- Floor decals, signage, stanchions, and Plexiglas barriers at concourse dining locations will ensure proper social distance
- All dining areas will be disinfected during and after each event. All direct surface contact areas are wiped down frequently.
Walsworth Family Columns Club, Show Me Club, Suites
- Club chef tables and other communal spaces will be reorganized using single lanes and with chef attendants.
- Club locations will use fully-enclosed packaging, pre-wrapped items, disposable utensils, plates, and single use condiments.
- Each suite is provided a Sanitation Kit including hand sanitizer, disposable gloves, and sanitation wipes.
- An attendant is assigned to each suite to ensure best practices are being followed inside of the suite.
- Attendants will only enter the suite as requested.
- All food and beverage will be placed in the suite prior to the guest’s arrival to maintain distancing and lessen contact between parties. Guests are encouraged to ensure order accuracy before each game.
- Gloves will be provided to guests to grab utensils and clubs and suites will utilize disposable cups.
