Football Opener to Feature Halftime Drone Show

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Columbia sky will come to life at halftime of University of Missouri football’s Aug. 29 season-opening game at Memorial Stadium with a one-of-a-kind drone light show.

Featuring a fleet of 300 drones, each fitted with brilliant LED lights, the show will illuminate the night sky over Faurot Field. The 10-minute show is a collaboration with Marching Mizzou and will take place over the south portion of Memorial Stadium at halftime of the Tigers’ home opener against Murray State, which kicks off at 7 p.m. Suite holders in the South end zone are advised to move to the North concourse to fully enjoy the show.
