Former Mizzou Women’s Basketball Player Jordan Chavis Signs Pro Contract in Germany

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Former Mizzou Women’s Basketball player Jordan Chavis has signed a professional contact in Germany with the Eintracht Braunschweig Lionpride, the team announced on Tuesday.

“I can’t wait to come to Germany. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the culture, the food, and the great people,” said Chavis. “I am ready to start my new journey and I am looking forward to it.”

Chavis started all 30 games she appeared in during her senior season at Mizzou and had a career-year averaging 7.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game while shooting 42.4 percent from three. Chavis also posted career-highs in assists (65) and steals (31).

Her 42.4 percent mark from three ranks seventh all-time in a single-season in program history, while her 53 threes on the season rank ninth by a Mizzou senior. She finished her career ranked fifth in program history in three-pointers made (149) and eighth in three-point field goal percentage (.363).
