Friday Sports Report

The MSU West Plains Grizzlies Volleyball team faced Miami Dade Thursday evening and came up short falling 3 sets to 3. The Grizzlies lost set 1 26-24, won set two 25-22. Won Set three 25-17, and lost the last two sets 25-16 and 15-7. They Will play Indian Hills today at 4 p.m.

Two Former SCA Football standouts were awarded first team KCAC all-conference selections. Nate Swofford of Ava received 1st team Defensive back honors and Liberty’s Drew Ripko received 1st team Punt Returner and 2nd Team Kickoff Returner honors. Both Swofford and Ripko play for the Evangel Valor in Springfield.
