The 41st Annual Willow Springs Lions Club Golf Tournament is a 2-person 18 hole scramble held at the Thomas F. Benyo Municipal Golf course in Willow Springs, to sign up call Lakeland Pharmacy at 417-469-9009 the cost is 150.00 per team if you pre-register or 160.00 day of tournament. The tournament will be played This Saturday and Sunday. You can play multiple times but must play with a different partner.

Thairo Estrada plated the go-ahead run in the sixth inning as the Giants topped the Royals 6-2 in San Francisco.  Estrada broke a 2-2 tie after both teams scored a pair of runs in the third.  Brandon Crawford added some insurance with a two-RBI double in the seventh for San Francisco, which improved to 34-and-26.  Alex Wood picked up his fourth win after allowing two runs over six frames.  Amir Garrett took the loss in relief for Kansas City, which fell to 20-and-40.  Whit Merrifield and rookie Bobby Witt Jr. each drove in a run in the losing effort.
