District football for Friday night in our area. In class 2 district 4 Thayer at Fair Grove and Liberty host Houston game will air on The Fox 969 and be live video streamed for pay purview at the Mshsaa web site, Mountain Grove will be at Mt Verron in class 3 district 5. Class 4 district 6 West Plains host Rogersville.

The Class 2 district 9 Volleyball all district team. First team all-district goes to Sophia Dotson Cabool, Jayne Thompson Cabool, Loren Bojko Fordland, Korie Lind Liberty, Bryliegh Wallace Liberty, Kaylie Wagner Liberty, and Abby Bowers Thayer.
University of Missouri women’s basketball dropped its 2024-25 season opener to Vermont, 62-46, Monday night at Roy L. Patrick Arena. Junior guard Ashton Judd collected seven points, seven rebounds and a steal for Missouri (0-1, 0-0 SEC) in the effort. Missouri will welcome Southern to Mizzou Arena at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday for the 2024-25 home opener.
