Save-the-Date for the upcoming Zizzer Softball Cancer Awareness Night on Tuesday, Oct. 15 @ 5 p.m. Recognition will take place between the Varsity and Junior Varsity softball games. Proceeds will be donated to the Ozarks Healthcare Cancer Treatment Patient Care Fund this year. We will be recognizing and remembering all those affected by cancer this year! The West Plains Lady Zizzer Volleyball team will compete in the annual Missouri Cooperage Pinkfest Tournament at Lebanon High School on October 12th. Lady Zizzers game times are 920am – 1010 am – and 1240 in pool play. Team competing Lebanon, Fatima, Hermann, Columbia Hickman, Helies, Marshfield and Carl Junction.
Lady Grizzlies held their Grizzly Invitational volleyball tournament and it wrapped up on Sunday morning with more here is Harlan Hutchison.
Jim Cox Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Saturday Oct 19th with a tee time of 11am 2-person 18-hole scramble will be the format, $80.00 per team. The tournament will be held at the Willow Spring Thomas Beyno Municipal Golf Course. Sign-up sheet inside the pro shop or call 417-469-1214.
Mizzou tumbled out of the top ten in the rankings after getting embarrassed at Texas A&M. The Tigers dropped 12 spots to 21st after their 41-10 loss. Brady Cook completed 13-of-31 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown. The 21st ranked Missouri Tigers are at UMass on Saturday pregame 9am kickoff at 11am all on Q94.
