Lady Eagles golf tee’d up in Mtn Grove for a 9 hole match at Randel Hinkle Golf Course this past Thursday. Both Liberty girls struggled early. Payton Glasscock started her day of with a triple bogey and a few double bogies but kept grinding it out through the round. Kameryn Woods also got off to a rough start being 6 over after her first 3 holes. Kameryn Woods then went on to make 5 straight pars to claim the lead! Payton Glasscock finished 23rd today and Kameryn Wood won her 4th straight meet!

The West Plains Lady Zizzer Volleyball team will compete in the annual Missouri Cooperage Pinkfest Tournament at Lebanon High School on October 12th. Lady Zizzers game times are 920am – 1010 am – and 1240 in pool play. Team competing Lebanon, Fatima, Hermann, Columbia Hickman, Helies, Marshfield and Carl Junction.
The Royals capped off their regular season with a win over the playoff-hopeful Braves in Atlanta. Kansas City defeated Atlanta 4-2 to cap off a three-game set at Truist Park. Michael Massey hit his 13th home run of the season on a three-run blast in the first inning. Hunter Renfroe also went deep for the 15th time this year. Alec Marsh earned the win, while Kris Bubic earned his first save. The Royals are 86-and-76 heading into their AL Wild Card series against the Baltimore Orioles. The first game from Camden Yards will be Tuesday with a first pitch set for 3:08 CT on ESPN 2.
