The 4th annual Jim Jones Individual golf tournament at the Thomas F Benyo Municipal golf course in Willow Springs will be Saturday Sept 7th with a tee time of 11am. (MSU-WP) and the Grizzly Club will celebrate the new athletic seasons with the annual Grizzly Club Fall Picnic at 5 p.m. Wednesday, at the West Plains Civic Center exhibit hall. A complimentary meal sponsored by Wayward Son Productions will be served free of charge. Grizzly Basketball Head Coach Jared Phay, Grizzly Softball Coach Ryan Hargrove, Grizzly Baseball Coach Kadem Tharp, Grizzly Rodeo Coach Matt Hughes and the Grizzly Cheer Team will be on hand to introduce their respective teams and give previews of the upcoming seasons. Immediately following the picnic, the Grizzly Volleyball team will host its season home opener against rival St. Louis Community College in the civic center arena. Admission to the game also will be free. All Grizzly fans, not just Grizzly Club members, are welcome to attend the picnic.
