(MSU-WP) Grizzly Softball team took both games of a double header against North Arkansas College, Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Hilburn Sports Complex in West Plains. The Grizzlies won the first game 8-4 and the second game 8-0. They are 6-0 on the season.

The Mizzou Tigers are on a 14-game losing streak after an 88-73 loss to Arkansas at Bud Walton Arena on Saturday. The Tigers trailed by just two at halftime before getting outscored 52-39 the rest of the way. Sean East-the-second had 33 points in the losing effort. Mizzou is in last place in the SEC with an 0-and-14 conference record and a 8-and-19 mark overall. The Tigers visit Florida on Wednesday.
A pitiful start doomed the Blues in a 6-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday. The Blues surrendered four goals in the first period and never found a way back into the game. St. Louis is tied for fifth place in the Central Division with 62 points and a 30-25-and-2 record. The Blues visit Winnipeg tomorrow night.
And the high school state basketball playoffs are set and on the girls side in class 2 Norwood won their district and will host Crocker tonight at 6pm. In class 3 the Liberty lady Eagles won their first ever district tittle by defeating Licking at Seymour in the district championship game in over-time 60-55, The Lady Eagles of Liberty will host Fatima tonight at 6pm game will air on The Fox 969.
On the boys side making it to the state tournament The Cabool Bulldogs have punched their ticket to the state playoffs and will host South Pemiscot Tue at 6pm. Also in class 2 headed back to the state tournament the Hartville Eagles and they will host Eugene Tue at 6pm. In class 3 the Thayer bobcats won district 10 by defeating Liberty 50-36, The Thayer Bobcat will host Fatima 5pm on Tue.
