Willow Springs has hired a new high school football coach and did it from within the school system. Logan Schwalm will take over the head football coaching duties for the upcoming school year at Willow Springs. Coach Schwalm has been on the Willow Spring coaching staff in the past. Willow Springs has also added an assistant coach to the staff with a familiar name Ian Ary, son of former Willow Springs Bears football coach Steve Ary.
STL Cardinal Dylan Carlson has a sprained AC joint in left shoulder and will start the season on the IL, Cardinal officials said absence will be weeks not months, Victor Scott will join team and start in centerfield on opening day.
