The West Plains Lady Zizzers won the Gold in the Zizzer Volleyball Showdown played this past Saturday, the lady Zizzers took on Bliar Oaks in the championship game and won in three sets 25-23 Blair Oaks set 1 then 25-23 Zizzers set 2, the third set 25-23 Lady ZIZZERS.

The Mizzou Tigers snuck past Middle Tennessee with a 23-19 win at Faurot Field on Saturday. The game was tied at ten early in the third quarter, but Brady Cook threw a five-yard touchdown pass to Theo Wease later in the quarter, and he tossed a 49-yard score to Nathaniel Peat to open the fourth. MTSU turned the ball over on downs after getting within four, and Missouri ran out the clock with just under three-and-a-half minutes left in regulation. Mizzou improved to 2-and-0 with the victory, and the Tigers host number-15 Kansas State on Saturday.
