The Chiefs were the ones to play spoiler this week following a 17-9 win over the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Patrick Mahomes completed 29-of-41 passes for 305 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception while adding 30 rushing yards.
The Mizzou Tigers pulled off a 30-27 upset over previously-ranked number-15 Kansas State at Faurot Field on Saturday. Harrison Mevis kicked a 61-yard walk-off field goal as time expired to give Mizzou the victory. The teams stayed within seven points of one another throughout the entire game. Brady Cook passed for 356 yards and two touchdowns, and he added another score on the ground. The Tigers are 3-and-0 heading into a game against Memphis on Saturday.
