Zizzer Cross Country had a big weekend in Memphis. JV Boys were 5th out of 15 teams and had several personal bests. Joe Roberson had a top 10 finish and placed 6th overall. Zizzer varsity girls were 3rd of 41 teams. Karlee Roman’s earned her stripes. Zizzer varsity boys were 2nd (out of 45 teams) to a very tough Christian Brothers team.
The Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Softball team dropped three games over the weekend on the road. They fell to Drury University 8-10 in Friday in Springfield then lost both contests against Williams Baptist University Saturday in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. The scores were 8-9 in the first game and 5-10 in the nightcap. The Grizzlies fall exhibition season record now stands at 7-5-1.
