All Ozark Conference Volleyball team has been announced and Lady Zizzers being recognized 1st all Ozark conference Lily Weideman and making second team all-conference Madi Hughston and making Honorable Mention All-Conference Lucy Hafer.
In class 1 cross country state meet from this past weekend Van Buren boys finished in second place in class one. And in girls’ class one Dora girls finished 5th and Van Buren girls finished in 6th. In class 2 boys cross country Alton finished 8th and Mansfield finished 9th overall.

Year two with Dennis Gates at the helm for Mizzou off to a flying start, 101-79 rout of Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Mizzou Arena. Mizzou led from the opening tip. Sean East led with 21 points (cut) while Nick Honor and Tamar Bates chipped in with 18 points apiece, five players ended up scoring in double figures for Gates (cut). The 1-and-0 Tigers host Memphis on Friday.

The Evangel Valor football team managed to stage a late rally after leading nearly the entire game to keep its undefeated season alive at 10-0 and clinches at least a share of the Kessinger Division title. Evangel also improved to 4-0 in the KCAC, while Southwestern fell to 7-3 overall and 1-3 in conference play; however, the Valor would need a win over Bethel next week to earn the automatic bid from the KCAC.
