The 2023 Current River Challenge will take place on Nov 24th and 25th at Van Buren High School. Friday line up Van Buren jv vs Greenville jv at noon, Greenville vs Eminence at 130 on the fox 969 Twin Rivers vs Summersville at 3pm Van Buren girl’s vs Greenville girls at 430pm and the final game on Friday will be Van Buren vs Gideon at 6pm on the fox 969. Saturdays line up at the current river challenge, Bernie vs Winona at 10am on the fox 969. Viola vs Doniphan at 1130 on the fox 969. East Carter vs Alton at 1pm on the fox 969. St Pius vs Woodland at 230. Rogers Ark vs West Plains at 4pm on KDY 102.5. Van Buren vs Clarkton at 530 on the fox 969. And the final game of the current river challenge will be Greenville vs Bakersfield at 7pm.
West Plains Lady Zizzer basketball team will travel to Doniphan for a jamboree with Alton and Poplar Bluff on Nov. 14 before opening the regular season vs. Union on Nov. 17.
The Mizzou Tigers will host the Tennessee Vol’s this Saturday pregame at 1230 and kickoff at 230 all on Q94.
District Championship football is in the air and this Friday night in Class 3 district 5 its an SCA match up Ava will host Mountain Grove these two team played each other in week 3 with Ava getting the win 38-14. Kickoff for the district championship game is set for 7pm. Class 1 district 1 semi finals, two local schools are still in the hunt for the district crown. Thayer will travel to Portageville Friday night with a kickoff of 7pm and Cabool will travel to Marionville Friday night with a kickoff of 7pm. The class 1 district 1 championship game will be played on the 17th.
Sunday the Missouri Lady Tigers will be on the road to play STL Lady Billikens and it all starts at 245 and the game will air on Q94
